In a world of wifey’s and side chicks, Instagram models and Twitter Honey’s, unfaithful ni**as and women with low self-esteem putting their pussy miles, dick sucking skills on social media for the fastest bidder to come through, being single doesn’t seem that bad. Yet in a world of social media professors and psychologist, studies show that if you’re single either your sex is wack or you’re HIV positive. Yes, twitter logic is that ill. Social media pressures the single women to get into relationships, just to desperately prove to thousands of people that they do not know and that doesn’t give a fuck about them, that they are not lonely. So what do people do? They take pictures with “bae” while he got his head down, rocking a hoodie and rolling a blunt, because he really isn’t your bae so you can’t show his face. He’s either just your friend or somebody else’s guy. But you do it so you won’t be slandered on twitter for being single. You tweet about your ”him” doesn’t exist, so again these social media thugs don’t tease you for being single or accuse you of having a high body count or a baggy vagina which is why nobody wants to wife you.
Not to mention the single woman slander that happens on the holiday. Cuffing season has begun and if you’re single, according to social media you might as well kill yourself if you don’t have a warm body to tweet or FB about during this crucial time. God forbid your “him” works in the hospital or for the MTA and can’t get the holidays off and you tweet that you miss your man today and its Christmas. Twitter will accuse him of cheating or instantly make you out to be a side bitch which is why your man isn’t with you on the holidays.
If you are single by choice, (which again is a god damn lie according to social media. Who wants to be single? You lying ma, what’s the real reason why you don’t have a man?) then I say you are making a great decision to keep yourself out of the loop of unfaithful men and thirsty twitter bitches with Avi’s of their asses and cleavages that will DM your man and fuck him just to @ you on social media to blow up spots and gain more followers. Don’t lie just to fit in. And definitely don’t be offended by a guy who is validated by how many followers he has and how many RT’s he gets in a day after offering the world his tacky, classless opinion of “single bitches” and “baby mama’s” when he is nine times out of ten a product of one.
Definitely keep your personal business off of social media. Posting pictures of your significant other just to show him or her off is ridiculous. If it’s precious, protect it. What could you possibly have to prove to a bunch of people that don’t know you at all? Back in the day before all this social media bullshit, we had nothing to prove, why has that changed? It’s your page or timeline but use it wisely. Streets is watching… waiting for you to break and make your first mistake. Be wise in those 140 characters but most importantly BE YOU!
BE GREAT!!
