Prepare to “shine bright” with another pair of infrared kicks.

If you’re a not a part of the forever-growing  sneaker community, then you wouldn’t know the word infrared is more than just a color to some. For sneakerheads, infrared is one of the most popular hues to wear on your feet. Jordan, Saucony and New Balance have added this shade to a majority of their kicks over the years, and they pretty much all sell out at some point or another.

This year many sneaker brands are keeping up the trend with a slew of infrared releases, most notably the Jordan brand. With the release of the Infrared 6′s this past Valentine’s Day weekend and the hinting of the game-crushing Bred 6′s dropping on Black Friday, they’re showing love to the color on some popular retros. With that being said, I give you this weekend’s drop, the Air Jordan 3 “Infrared 23.”

Available March 8th for $170, the “Infrared 23″ are a new colorway from Mike, giving us the classic “White Cement” look with a twist. Black is added to the midsole, as well as the outsole, tongue, and ankle collar, and the hints of Infrared in the air bubble and eyelets really make these kicks pop.
