Hmmm…

Drake just got off the final leg of his Would You Like A Tour? tour, punctuated with three dates in London, and upon his return home, he’s been releasing music at an alarming rate. Most people know that Drake very rarely releases free music, so the fact that, much like his end of year celebratory releases, in two days he’s released two original songs, constitutes an “alarming rate” for Drizzy.

Two days ago, Drake let loose with “Draft Day”, an ode to student athletes–Johnny Manziel & Andrew Wiggins specifically–in which he (may or may not have) shot back at Jay Z and playfully toyed with Chance The Rapper, and last night in usual Drake fashion (while most were asleep), “Days In The East”, the PARTYNEXTDOOR and 40-produced song that he debuted live while on tour overseas surfaced, making him 2-for-2 on back to back days.

In the most recent interviews Drake’s done, he’s made it apparent that he has no plans of slowing up, a practice he exhibited shortly after the release of his latest album, the platinum-selling Nothing Was The Same, releasing the Soulja Boy-assisted “We Made It” and the Hit-Boy-produced “Trophies” less than 3 months after NWTS hit shelves.

“Days In The East”, the latter of the two new freeleaeses Drake fed the internet over the past 48 hours, came with a pretty ambiguous artwork.

Today, a snapshot of an OVO billboard surfaced, featuring the “Days In The East” cover art, which has interesting implications. No word yet on what the spooky “6″ means or indicates, but random Toronto billboards is how Drake announced his last album rollout, with the infamous “Started From The Bottom” billboard that morphed into the single’s actual art.

Only time will tell. Too soon for a new Drake album? Maybe not.
