well, the term ‘official artwork’ might be grossly mis-used in this instance.
Contrary to popular belief, there will be no “melting Jesus piece” representation on the cover of Yeezus, because there will be nothing on the cover of Yeezus. It will be in stores as it is pictured above, which is straight up amazing, considering how important optics is to the American consumer in this day and age.
The enigma that is the Yeezus album from Kanye West has become more and more, for lack of a better word, weird. The only glimpse of music we’ve gotten from the album were West’s scintillating Saturday Night Live performances, and apparently there will be no pre-order or pre-album-release single. What is going to have to happen, is every one is going to have to flood the stores on June 18th to hear this album.
“Kanye West’s album is not important enough for me to go to the stores and buy it because nothing was released online prior to its release”.
Said no one, ever.
We’re looking at exclusive Jordan re-release lines outside of Best Buy on June 18th. This is really going to be very, very interesting.
