Timbaland apologizes to Chris Brown and welcomes his Aaliyah collaboration.
Timbaland has been on an apology tour as of late. First, he pens “Sorry”, a song he made to mend the rift between himself and Jay Z. Now, the legendary producer took to twitter to apologize for recent comments he made about Chris Brown.
In an interview with Revolt TV, he stated that he was not happy with Drake and Chris Brown using Aaliyah’s vocals.
Today, Timbaland took to twitter to apologize to Chris Brown for his remarks. He blamed his zeal on the fact that Aaliyah was family to him, and he has become a little over protective of her. He reiterated that he has mad love for Brown, even going so far as to say that he enjoyed the collaboration.
Whats still absent is an apology to Drake, which is weird and surprising. Last year, Drake was rumored to be working on a posthumous Aaliyah album, which caused quite a stir with Timbaland and Missy Elliott.
