Watch TLC perform an hour-long set at the Super Bowl Blitz
Although the official Super Bowl XLVIII isn’t set to kick off until this Sunday in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the festivities have already begun taking place.
Last night during VH1’s “Super Bowl Blitz: Six Nights and Six Concerts,” legendary female group TLC took to the stage at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan to perform a one-hour long concert, that was also streamed online for viewers at home.
Taking it back for the old school TLC fans, the ladies kicked off their set with their 1992 hit single “What About Your Friends,” before ripping into various classics such as “Diggin On You,” “Creep,” “Red Light Special,” “No Scrubs,” etc, before bringing it to a close with their Phatboiz-produced single “Meant to Be.”
Despite it having been years since TLC first stepped onto the scene, it’s quite evident that these gals have not lost a touch and can still get down with the best of them.
