Imagine a world of Social Tolerance and Self Respect. Would humanity be satisfied with those results? Or would there still be issues to rise up against to change the conditions? The conditions for change can vary differently among humanity. Among social, economic, and generational classes, the matters of change is diverse and outstanding.
According to the United Independent Compensatory Code/System/Concept textbook, there are nine major areas of people activity in the known universe.
1. Economic
2. Education
3. Entertainment
4. Labor
5. Law
6. Politics
7. Religion
8. Sex
9. War
Within the world we revolve around, there are organizational structures within our governments and private sectors which are established to maintain and develop each of the nine major areas of people activity. But nobody is ever completely satisfied with the maintenance or current developments. So we have news channels, television and radio programs to justify the reasons that the people are dissatisfied. Because nobody wants to be responsible for being selfish about life, everybody puts up this little front like they are concerned. Concerned about something right? So we participate in programming that give off the impression we are a part of a moral society. Whatever!
It’s all about capitalism. People act cordial and tolerant when it comes to protecting their interest against currency. Smiles are rare in the streets. Everybody wants to beat traffic and look the most important at the traffic light. But when a venue is established, you can tell who’s cause reflects the kind of community development it takes to improve in any aspect of our society (of the nine major areas of people activity ). Furthermore, it ain’t hard to tell when a cause is based on population control, genocide, and racism.
Is that even real? That racism is the cause of genocide, and genocide is a tool for population control. Sounds like something out of a movie. But in a real life, the powers that be, can make the life expectancy of a good breed dog seem more important than the life expectancy of their fellow neighbors. People will go out of their way to feed, walk and provide free health maintenance for their pet animals before they could do for their own brothers and sisters in our societies. Its all way too sad to even make dialogue about the issue.
From where I am, currently North America, the dollar is a very powerful thing. People do a lot of things possible to keep their flow of dollars because inflation is like a disease. It only gets worst. But is it possible to find a cure to beat inflation? When considering the times we live in, social intolerance and lack of self respect can be quite costly on our individual lifestyles, potentially causing an effect on inflation. For example, modifying the cost of living in specified areas because of gentrification is an issue of Social Tolerance. Tax inflation in areas where there is a higher count of sex offenders in the neighborhood is an issue of Self Respect. Respect yourself enough to respect other people and we could live in harmony. Could Social Tolerance and Self Respect be the cure for our communities?
When Malcolm Speaks! In our most recent YouTube uploads, we hear Malcolm X address issues revolving around socialism and capitalism. That is a deep conversation that can have many perspectives. It involves the use of certain vocabulary that people should understand before they start talking about change, democracy, or any kind of revolution. This kind of vocabulary includes understanding the definition to words like Capitalism, Free Enterprise, Private Enterprise, Enterprise Culture, Socialism, and Communism.
Real talk. With the inauguration of Americas 45th President Donald Trump, and all his new policies, everybody wants to talk about a revolution all of a sudden. From where we stand as a nation, Donald Trump is the revolution. Not quite the people’s choice, but based on these definitions, definitely a reflection of the our nations value system. According to google.com, the definitions for the vocabulary mentioned is as follows:
Capitalism: An economic and political system in which a country’d trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.
Free Enterprise: An economic system in which private business operates in competition and largely free of state control.
Private Enterprise: Business or industry that is managed by independent companies, or private individuals rather than by the state.
Enterprise Culture: A capitalist society in which taking on financial risks in the hope of profit is encouraged.
Socialism: A political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
Communism: A political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
Is that not all of what President Donald Trump stands for? From big business to tax invasion, and labor. President Donald Trump has mastered all aspects enough to represent “we the people”. Not as a lawyer, not from working in the government, but as an individual. Everybody has their own compliments and complaints about the new President of the United States. Great! But what is so different now than before if everybody is talking about a revolution but not talking about the root causes to our problems as a nation.
A recent article in the University of Maryland Diamond Back Newspaper titled “Why we shouldn’t be satisfied with the Women’s March on Washington” claims: “The Women’s March came from a place of good intentions…. and a step in the right direction”. However, “One of the issues that circulated the event was its lack of emphasis on inclusivity. Protesting for women without protesting for black and other minority women isn’t going to cut it anymore… If white women stand up and march only once a candidate makes disparaging comments that affect all women, they’re leaving their minority sisters in the dust. This has been dubbed ‘lazy activism’ and it aligns with the Western fallacy that it is only appropriate to act on causes that affects one directly. This is not a path to progress.” (Erin Hill, Columnist dbknews.com)
Want to talk about progressive activism, lets stop glorifying war stories in our primary, secondary, and college level history classes. Let’s talk about the real history of people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, John Tyler, James K. Polk, Zachary Taylor. All Presidents of the United States who owned slaves during their presidency. Fact Check! Let’s talk about Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome in African American communities and the disparities that affect “Black Women” globally.
Social Tolerance and Self Respect can go a long way for humanity. If there was Social Tolerance in our communities, the welfare of our economies would be evaluated fairly and more logically when it comes to issues about Education, Labor, Healthcare, Food, Clothing, and Shelter. Self respect just makes life easier. The criminal justice system could not get over so much if Self Respect was valued in our communities. Sexuality disparities, sexual assault, broken homes are all issues which warrant self respect in order to be cured. Read a book, go to the museum, contact your local Housing Opportunities Commission to find out why there are so many vacant homes in our communities priced at half a million dollars and more, yet so many homeless people in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Be the change you want to see. That’s how you start a revolution.
