Some big names were in Vegas this past weekend. On Saturday, April 12 1 OAK Nightclub was the place to be. Nick Cannon returned for a special DJ set. He dined at celebrity hotspot STACK Restaurant and Bar at The Mirage. After filling up on Chef Brian Massie’s menu of comfort food classics, Cannon hit the 1 OAK Red Carpet where he answered questions for reporters. He also took a few fun selfies before heading inside. On his way to the DJ booth, Cannon also stopped to see a very special VIP guest in the building: Robin Thicke. The “Blurred Lines” singer and Cannon hugged and chatted before he kicked off the party. Cannon then jumped in the DJ booth and on the mic to shout out Thicke and drop a few of the crooner’s hit songs. Throughout Cannon’s set, Thicke grabbed the mic multiple times to playfully shout out the crowd–and Cannon’s muscles. Party-goers were also treated to an impromptu performance by legendary Bay area rapper Too Short who stopped by 1 OAK for the party. At Cannon and Thicke’s urging, Too Short performed his club banger “Blow the Whistle” that had the the entire nightclub dancing and bouncing along. Cannon then continued his set and also performed his song “Pajama Pants” off his new album. He concluded his set at 2:45 a.m.

This month Mike Will Made It celebrated his birthday at 1 OAK. Before his big night, he posed for pics and fans on the 1 OAK Red Carpet. He was then escorted inside to an exclusive VIP table. The “We Can’t Stop” producer partied with a large group of friends and took to the mic to give shout outs and thank partgoers for celebrating with him. Then at 1:45 a.m. he performed a special DJ set, playing the hottest tracks including his smash hit featuring Miley Cyrus, “23″. Later in the night, he was presented with a red, white and black tiered birthday cake and a bottle of champagne. After Vegas, Mike Will returns to Atlanta.

Clad in a gold jacket, a white tee, denim jeans and navy and white Nikes, Cole briefly posed for pics on the HAZE red carpet before heading inside. Cole and crew were then escorted to a private VIP table tucked away from guests where they enjoyed drinks prior to his performance. After taking in the club scene, the “Born Sinner” hopped on the HAZE stage and was greeted by throngs of cheering fans. He kicked off his highly-anticipated set with “Can’t Get Enough” which sent partygoers into a bouncing frenzy and quaked the dance floor.
