Wale declares war with the release of “King Slayer” from the Catch the Throne mix-tape, which will be released as a promotional tool for the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” which will debut April 6.
While the ladies may love Wale’s poetic love raps, the fellas long for that More About Nothing, Wale. You know, when he spits like he’s still on a D.C. block.
Wale provides that feeling on “King Slayer” as he raps,”Got my back to the wall/This isn’t rap this is war/Took a sabbatical/I’ll battle anybody who want it/These are my king knack for words/as an actual sword/I could decapitate a rapper/if he be lacking he gone.”
“King Slayer” is second release from Catch The Throne, which will be released March 11th. Yesterday, Big Boi, of Outkast, released “Mother of Dragons.” The album will feature hip hop artists such as Bodega Bamz, Common and Daddy Yankee, to name a few.
