The Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors tend to put on quite a show when they play each other. Last night Kevin Durant was the star. With Russell Westbrook out, Durant literally put the team on his back as he took over.
Durant dropped a new career high of 54 points shooting 19/28 from the field, 5/9 from three, 11/13 from the free throw line, six assists, and four rebounds. I guess that’s what Lebron James meant when he said he was jealous of how many shots Durant takes. It was definitely an MVP performance. The Thunder finished with a 127-121 win over the Warriors.
