Cube’s back this year in a big way.
Ice Cube‘s been pretty quiet on the music scene, considering his last studio album, I Am The West, was released in 2010, but he remains in the epicenter of the sphere of relevancy. His latest film, the Kevin Hart-assisted Ride Along, broke the January record for the biggest opening weekend at the box office, and word has it that he’s already begun shooting scenes from the upcoming 21 Jump Street sequel, 22 Jump Street.
That being said, “Sic Them Youngins On Em” serves as the lead single to Ice Cube’s upcoming tenth full-length album, Everythang’s Corrupt, slated for a fall release according to the posters on display early on in the video. The former N.W.A. anchor rides around the city letting loose with his usual slick story-telling as he does exactly what the song’s title suggests, coming up victorious in the end. Watch the clip, and get ready for a lot of Ice Cube in 2014.
