The first video from Drake’s protege has surfaced.

PARTYNEXTDOOR–the rap/R&B fusion whose popularity has skyrocketed over this summer–is poised to make even more noise this fourth quarter as he joins Drake, Miguel, Future and Jhene Aiko on Drake’s Would You Like A Tour? excursion. His debut OVO Sound project, the self-titled PARTYNEXTDOOR was released to iTunes this past July, to rave reviews and a warm reception, as his music resembled the more R&B/electro-pop-heavy side of Drake’s sound, which was missing with the departure of The Weeknd from Drake’s immediate professional circle.

Despite putting out two new records this month (Muse, Candy w/ Nipsey Hussle), PND has re-visited his summer album for his latest video, for the fan-favorite “Break From Toronto”, which implements one of his previous singles, “Wus Good/Curious”, for the latter half of the visual. There’s clearly no effort to make PARTYNEXTDOOR’S physical appearance a mystery during this early part of his campaign, which is quite interesting, and whether that works out to be an effective marketing scheme remains to be seen, considering how well it worked for his predecessor.

Either way, the music is good, now enjoy the video.
