Fans first caught a glimpse of the video when Solange released a short video clip to her saintrecords.com, theofficial website for her forthcoming record label, Saint Records, followed by a series of stills from the video and GIFs.

Directed by Solange and Peter J. Brant and produced by The Creators Project, Intel and VICE’s global arts and technology initiative, the video leaves viewers with a palpable feel of emotions, ranging from heartache to ebullience. A series of empty, vaguely forlorn commercial spaces paints the scene—from a long, winding cinderblock hallway lit only by fluorescent lights, to a basement cafeteria, arcade and pawn shop, to a famed Houston-area mall where hip-hop legend Bun-B once worked. The video features an eerie palette of muted colors offset only by Solange—a shining beacon of bold prints, rich colors, glow-in-the-dark materials and shiny, metallic sequins. Solange truly enlivens each frame as she makes her way through the Houston landscape. Heavily involved in the entireprocess, Solange participated in every aspect of the video from the treatment and concept to the art direction and final edit.

Solange will appear on BET 106 & Park on Wednesday, September 18th to support and discuss the video. Fans can tune in at 6:00 PST / 5:00 CST and should check their local listings for channel number.
