Yeezus just rose again
Kanye West‘s latest album, Yeezus, has been certified platinum (for shipments, not units sold) and Ye–who’s currently entrenched in the final leg of his Yeezus tour–just released the trailer to his upcoming Yeezus film, which was directed by Hype Williams–who worked with West on the “Stronger” music video–to his website.
Unlike Ye’s last film, Runaway, which corresponded with the release of West’s previous solo LP, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the Yeezus film looks to be very Fade To Black in nature, as stunning tour footage is sprinkled all over the very brief trailer. The film itself will be in theaters by the second week of May, and thus far, only foreign release dates have been announced, which can be viewed below.
