While some artists are opting to follow in Yonce’s footsteps with no press before a release, the venerable general of Bad Boy is sticking to his date of March 31st. If you didn’t know that Diddy is dropping a video for “Big Homie,” featuring Rick Ross and French Montana on March 31st, I don’t know what you’ve been doing with your life. Nothing.
We posted up the first trailer not too long ago. Today’s trailer pretty much tells us more of what we expected: clouds of smoke surrounding Ricky, shades and animal prints on French, and a whole lot of slow motion. We do get some extra shots in quick succession of Diddy’s crew with the song actually playing. Meek Mill also makes a quick cameo riding shotgun.
At this rate, we really are expecting nothing short of a J.J. Abrams film. The video has TWO trailers and plenty of money and talent behind it. Will this be the first year that a music video wins Best Musical at the Tony’s?
PS: We still want to know the significance behind MMM, Mr. Combs.
