If there is one car that need not be raced, it’s this one. Hands down the new Pagani Huayra takes the prize. Not only for its performance on the road but also the details of its design, from the aerodynamic outer frame to the soft leather interior.
This new flybrid (not to be mistaken for hybrid) comes from Italian designer Horacio Pagani. Named after Huayra-tata, which means “God of the winds” in Quechua, the Huayra runs on a twin-turbo Mercedez-AMG V-12 engine and produces 730 metric horsepower. Needless to say, it’s fast as hell. Its top speed is 230mph to be precise.
And there you have it, everything about this car including the name, says that it was made to fly. But at $1.3mil there are very few who might be able to pilot this machine. Perhaps Akon wants to update his collection. He once rapped about the Huayra’s predecessor, the Pagani Zonda, in a remix of T-Pain’s ” Can’t Believe It. ”
