ScHoolboy Q talks Black Hippy album or the lack there of and why he quit smoking
We’re all too familiar with Hip-Hop stoners. They rap about it, talk about it; they’re pretty much “one” with it. And ScHoolboy Q is no stranger to marijuana. In an interview with Rap-Up TV the TDE artist dished on why he briefly quit weed while touring in Europe (which is pretty hilarious) as well as some disappointing news about Black Hippy.
“It’s something I wanted to do. I quit over there just to see if I was a slave of it. I was able to quit. Cause the weed was so bad, it was like might as well not smoke it.”
But of course as soon as he touched down in L.A. he stopped by a friends house and there were quite a few blunts in rotation. Unfortunately, for Black Hippy fans the group has yet to embark on the collaborative album that’s been talked about for quite some time now. “We ain’t do shit. Not one song,” Q said. Fans do however, have something to look forward to. Although Q doesn’t have anything recorded yet for his next project, he’s already mapped out some concepts of where his head is and shared why he hasn’t discussed certain family members.
