Director and film geek Quentin Tarantino shocked the world with his pre-Civil War set spaghetti western “Django Unchained” this time last year. The Jamie Foxx-starring flick broke box office records and reassured audiences that the Western, and Tarantino himself, hadn’t run out of steam just yet.
Tarantino recently appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” to promote a “Django Unchained” graphic novel published by DC Comics and also announced that his next movie will indeed be another Western, but not a sequel to Django. Tarantino admitted to Leno that “After I taught myself how to make [a Western], I told myself ‘I wanna make another one, now that I know what I’m doing.’”
