Wyclef Jean has released an official music video for his song “Hard Times” based from his April Showers mix-tape.  The former Fugees member speaks on living in the great city of New York and immigration.  The first verses of the song say “This one is dedicated for those who come to NYC, went from illegal aliens to legal ID“.

The song continues on preaching that “If you make it in New York you can make it anywhere“.  Hard Times features up and coming Italian-American rapper G-Fella, who is currently filming a TV show with Fuse TV regarding is influence on hip hop.

Wyclef’s new album ”The Carnival Begins” does not have a release date at this time, but is expected to drop before the end of the year.
