The days of waiting on the latest dance craze from other cities are long gone, thanks to social networks like Vine, Twitter and Instagram. While the rest of the world is still doing or just catching on to the “Nae Nae” thanks to Mercer guard Kevin Canevari, who got news coverage from media outlets trying to figure out what dance the guard performed after the teams win on the court but since then a new dance has hit the scene called the “Yeet.”

Taking some cues from the “Nae Nae” with it sudden swing movements and chants while the dancer performs his or her desired moves to hit their “Yeet.” With the latest vine of the dance its become an over night sensation. After doing some investigating on YouTube the dance has been around for a few months.

The particular clip that has gone viral has since been revined more than 115.4 thousand times, liked more than 98 thousand times and has more than 5,000 comments on that one video alone. We’re sure to see more “Yeet” dance videos before the week over with more complex mores for sure. The video mostly went viral because of the dancer does an air gun stance which as been memed  all over Instagram.
