The ATLiens link up for real
A couple months ago, when it was a foregone conclusion that Young Thug was signing to Future‘s Freebandz label–Thug announced his record deal with Baby & Lil Wayne‘s YMCMB label at a show in New Orleans during NBA All-Star Weekend–”Out My Face”, a Young Thug song featuring Future and Rich Homie Quan was released. It’s widely regarded as one of Thug’s better releases, due in large part to Rich Homie’s knack for crafting catchy hooks, previously evident on his own work (“Type Of Way”), and YG‘s (“My N***a”).
A few moments ago, via a video uploaded to Vimeo, Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan announced they were releasing a collaborative mixtape. Rich Homie went on to say it may very well be an EP, citing the two have given away enough free music. There was no official title announced, but in both the video and the tweet, Thug and Rich Homie proclaimed “its not a mixtape its a rich tape”. Watch it above and get ready.
NOT A MIXTAPE A RI5H TAPE OTW … @RichHomieQuan
