Dom Kennedy’s loyal fan base has waited with baited breath for his new album Get Home Safely. Dom has been extremely strategic with his promotional roll-out this time around: staying mum on information, sparse on song and music video releases and even pushing his release date back on a number of occasions. However, supporters who may have thought that Dom wasn’t being forthcoming enough should be put at ease by the revelation of the album’s official cover art. Dom took to Instagram last night to reveal two, blue-hued album covers showcasing him and an associate standing in front of a mural handing out newspapers. The covers are eerily reminiscent of the Black Panther Party and their act of information dissemination by producing a periodical for their constituents. Dom’s independently distributed album Get Home Safely hits stores October 15th.
