The past few days Aston Martin has teased the internet with a few spy shots of their new 2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage. And by spy shots I mean they gave no real details of car. Today they finally decided to take the covers off the new car and see what all the hype was about, the word was this would be the end of the line for the Vantage model cars. The new V12 Vantage S will be a replacement in the series so fans of the model can breathe a sigh of relief.
The new model S will use racing technologies from the Vantage GT4, GT3 and GTE competition cars to make the S according to the company the most extreme Aston Martin car ever created. The racing technologies include damping system developed by Bilstein, Brembo brakes and a two-stage Dynamic Stability Control by Continental which can be turned off.
The Model S will be available in late 2013, so don’t get your hopes up if you’re planning to pick one up. For now enjoy the teaser video until the car hits the showroom.
